The Vigilance department under the guidance of Chief Vigilance Officer, with ally of Chief Executive Officer of the Company and in consultation / direction of Chief Vigilance Commission, always strives hard to eradicate the negative yield /pecuniary loss to the company’s business interest arising mainly due to erratic and ill motivated initiatives of the executives while discharging official duties.

Vigilance administration is integral part of the management to develop good corporate governance by maintaining probity and integrity in the mechanism. It also enhances the efficacy and reputation of the company to the business world by promoting transparency, clear policies and employee friendly system. It is the need of the hour to promote the awareness among the employees regarding the “do’s and don’ts” through periodic Workshops / interactive sessions with the vigilance fraternity. This is participative vigilance mechanism. To meet up the objectives, the department has been implementing a multipronged strategy to combat the corrupt practices, which encompasses preventive, punitive, participative and surveillance based vigilance measure.

This department has primarily focused on identifying the irregularities at its source, find out the root cause and recommend the systemic improvement plan to arrest the possibilities / re-occurrence of such misdeeds The department has endeavoured to implement the updated advices /guidelines of the Commission as well as of administrative ministry in the working ambit of the company and leverage latest technology to enhance the efficacy of working mechanism of the company.
