Bridge and Roof's Corporate Office is at Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The Company's operations are wide spread across the country with Zonal / Regional Offices and project sites at various locations.
Incorporated on 16th January, 1920, the Company started functioning from it’s Howrah Workshop, West Bengal, India as a modest structural fabrication agency. Since then on envisioning and visualizing the needed infrastructure in the nation, the Company matching it’s pace with time has now metamorphosed into a One Source Multi-discipline Engineering, Construction and Project Management Enterprise.
In 1972, it became a Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and since 1987 it came under the administrative control of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India. Presently it is the fourth largest CPSE in the Construction Industry.
