Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainable Development
B&R has taken up various CSR initiatives in the field of skill development and various sustainable development projects in rural areas as a socially responsible Company.
The Company is spending the amount as per Companies Act, 2013 to the tune of two percent of the average net profit of last three financial years. The minimum CSR Budget for the year 2015-16 was Rs. 60.59 Lakhs and actual expenditure was Rs. 78.82 Lakhs.
The various projects undertaken include B&R Vishwakarma Scheme of Skill Development by providing vocational training to the unemployed youths of the community, Construction and Renovation of toilet blocks in school under Swach Bharat Abhiyaan, Rainwater Harvesting, Afforestation, Energy Management and other projects in various states in India.
