Bridge And Roof Company (India) Limited was incorporated on 16th January, 1920 and started functioning from it’s Howrah Workshop, West Bengal, India as a modest structural fabrication unit.

Since then on envisioning and visualizing the needed infrastructure in the nation, the Company matching it’s pace with time has now metamorphosed into one of the largest versatile Engineering, Construction and Project Management Organization in India with it’s Headquarter at Kolkata, serving both Private and Public Sectors, India and Globally.

In 1972, it became a Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and since 1987 it came under the administrative control of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India. Presently it is the fourth largest CPSE in Construction Industry.
